A group of bicycle industry related cyclists (20+) that would meet weekly to cycle together and discuss local projects and events. Primarily bicycle mechanics, industry reps, Couriers and invited general public.
OBJECTIVE
To create a local community of cyclists that transcended traditional socio-economic boundaries of the time.
Created 2 Outlaw bicycle races
Attendance; of 200+ people and 50+ entrants per event
The AlleyCat Scramble
St Valentine’s Day Massacre
Both races have been repeated many times as independent world-wide bicycle races that still continue to this day.
